Hi Paul,

The present design of the pent house on top of the elevator shaft will not serve this purpose because it is designed to withstand the wind pressure. What I am thinking is a panel with frangible joints which we are often used in blast design. The only difference is that these joints will give away at certain temperature in stead of at certain presure.
