Hello All,
Does anyone have special insights on how to "modernize" traditional Chinese architecture? The sweeping roof corners, the thick overhang, and the detailing of door and window have long been the known images of Chinese architecture. Yet, I am wondering that in this modern world where efficiency and economic of buildings is essential, how can one respect the past forms and symbols, and build upon it?
