My professional interests are in architectural designs for homes of the future. In particular, I have developed a solar home concept using the pyramid form. The walls are the roof. The slope angle (52 degrees) is the ideal angle for maximum solar gain. Interior spaces are light and airy with Velux roof windows. Every window in a pyramid home is a skylight. Construction costs are well below conventional box shapes and maintenance of the "all roof" structure is almost zero. Go to my home page at http://homepage.mac.com/rhexum/album.html where you'll find some photos of pyramid homes I have designed and built over the past 20 years. Also you might want to check out the information provided in my "under construction" draft for my architectural firm's web site (Phi Designs), which will introduce solar pyramid home plans and architectural services to the internet. (http://members.home.net/rhexum/). E-mail me direct if you would like more information and links to other web sites.
