The site linked below lists a number of architects in North Dakota, USA.

Check out some of the architectural photos at this site if interested.

One thing that sometimes occurs in such surveys is that you do not get a response from every firm or individual working in the field. Sometimes this leads to a distorted report of what people earn. Unless valid statistical methods are incorporated into the surveys, they may be somewhat misleading, leading to conclusions that salaries are somewhat higher than they actually are.

I once read a book entitled "How to Lie With Statistics" which told how polsters can be misleading. Example: If 10 people are surveyed and 1 says that he is underpaid, then one could report that 10 percent of the people are underpaid. If we do the same survey next year and 2 people say they are underpaid, we could honestly and factually state that the number of underpaid people increased by one hundred percent; it is also factual that the number that should be reported for comparison purposes is 20 percent (2 out of 10).

Be careful how you interpret salary statistics.
