Don't get me wrong, often when I view the concept drawings in magazines I wish I had the opportunity to just go wild sometime; however, I practice in a very real world demanding very real design solutions where cost is almost always paramount. This saddens me for future architects' whos heads are filled with visions of "design sugar plums". They are in for a sad awakening when faced with the imagination limitations of clients, citys, financiers and the public at large.
