It's a sketch paper that's a bit lighter than tracing paper. I guess it's not called that everywhere - which could be how I got the domain name. But you've got to say it's better than "zebra"!

PS about that article... it always seems odd reading these overview articles about Australia - I guess most of us down here don't have access to breezy beach houses and don't spend time gazing out from verandas at expansive red-earthed views - we're more likely to be staring out at a brick wall and a drain pipe.
Australia is an extremely urbanized nation but this is not reflected much in the architectural press which seems to focus on Murcuttesque houses on large sites with a lot of gum trees.
