If you can find the virtual reality people over in the computer world you will find that architecture as we know it will no longer be needed. We can live in "domopods" with "liquid walls." The domopod is really nothing more than a box or tube necessary to provide shelter. It can be equipped with a virtual reality suit and computer monitored walls, or holographic projections creating the illusion of real space. One will be able to "travel" anywhere and have any experience on a virtual level rather than on a physical level. The virtual reality suit will provide the sensory illusion of physical reality.

The science fiction antecedent is the Star Trek "holodeck."
