Charlotte Church, the Welsh 'soprano' on BBC TV last night refered to a brief conversation with President George W. Bush, in which he asked her "and which STATE is Wales in?". (Wales is a principality in the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, by the way.)

Yes, there is nothing like good old AMERICAN ignorance, especially when it comes from the President! Did he take her for an American just because she was talking English? Does he really think that Wales is in the U.S.A.? Give me AMERICAN ignorance anytime over English!! You must be very proud indeed to have him as your President.
