Correct me if I am wrong o learned professor, but did not the U.S.A. once have the chance of making GERMAN its official language? So very ironically our American friends might have spoken German in any case!
Moi (that's french by the way) "critical" (but only of whoever built the W.T.C.) or "arrogant" (another french trait!)? Not really, but I do agree with you on the South Bank being the cultural centrepiece of London, it just a pity there is nothing left from the 1951 South Bank Exhibition - but have a very good look at my newest web page:
