In the 1770's some of the colonists in what is present day USA, dressed up as Native American "Indians." To protest the tax imposed on tea imported to the colonies, they threw the tea into Boston Harbor. Should we blame the Indians for this rebelliousness? (Crime?)
Should we celebrate the fake Indians for their resistance to taxation without representation?
Who were the people dressed up in Ku Klux Klan sheets and hoods? Do you know? Are you jumping to conclusions that may or may not be true? Are you seeking to condemn the USA based on the actions of a minority? Would you consider it fair to brand all the people of the United Kingdom as uncivilized people because some group with a grievance set off bombs?
What constructive comments do you have to offer that are related to architecture?
Those who don't like American cultural offerings are free to follow any other cultural examples. Our ancestors in the USA often borrowed architectural examples from England, France, Italy, Germany, and other European countries. Frank LLoyd Wright borrowed ideas from the Japanese and from the Central American Indians and was influenced by the "International Style" or perhaps it was the other way around.
Instead of criticizing for the sake of criticizing, how about offering some specific examples of how you would improve the built environment or any one of the world's cultures.
