Of course it takes a grass roots organization from our fair neighbor of New Jersey to inflict such an affair on our great city. As a long time resident of Manhattan, I strongly oppose such an idea. It is a logistical nightmare, the last thing we need in NY is more congestion. Especially for such a redundant event. We only need to got to Shea stadium parking lot to view the remnants of the Worlds Fair from back in its heyday. NY already hosts many large scale events and has established itself as a world class city. Why don't we award it to an emerging city such as in the case of Salt Lake City with the Olympics. Or even in your own state as a catalyst to the re-emergence of Newark, NJ. Thanx, but no thanx
