I have the exact same problem with a compaq armada 1592DMT. I don't know what caused it, a friend was going to throw it away so I snagged it. I have trieed boot rescue disks, reinstalling DOS, etc. Went into setup disabled A: got the same error for C:. It will not get to a prompt! Tried everything I can think of and am looking for help. Thanx.
