well, there are certainly ugly buildings in the world - and there is also meagre journalism (called "fillers" in the trade) which masquerades as architectural criticism.

Prince Charles had some very serious points to make about humanity and appropriateness of scale.

it is not even original mouthing-off: Ms.Betsy Schifman has simply lifted an idea from the BBC of about a year ago. Not very impressive.
