I've been in touch with a few MP's/counsilors. The solway proposal remains in the hands of the Scottish council. It looks bleak - they're very 'GREEN'. I've been told that if it was to go to the Allerdale (local) council then it would be less likely to go through. They've really got it in for this area though, several proposals in and around Cumbria. In some ludicrous locations. Great for tourism!!

"Flawed" that's an understatement.
