Yes-look at the 59th St Bridge; then fly down to Washington for a look at the Reagan Airport, for an interesting contrast in the combination of straight steel members to approximate curves...
In some curious way, to me the bridge profile seems naively direct, the airport roof self-conscious or perhaps "post-modern.."
