My first thoughts on reading this article were these:

1. The Yurt meets "organic architecture" (Frank Lloyd Wright)

2. Using tent-like panels could be adapted as a sun-shade to cut down on air conditioning costs on other buildings.

3. Providing for future expansion is a wise decision. (All dwellings should provide for future expansion.)

4. Blending in with the environment is often a desirable design element, especially in a historic area.

5. Would this be cost effective in a cold climate?

6. Too much plastic... not enough nature.

7. Where is the storm shelter? Could we build these in "Tornado Alley" in the USA? (Does France ever have tornados?)

8. What are the life cycle costs of the fabric roof? How well does it withstand unsightly fading?

9. Instead of what appears to be solid green, what about mottled green or camouflage green? Or brown and green, mimicking trees?

10. Does the fabric give off offensive odors?

I love seeing examples that explore different possibilities!
