That's great. Tools are veryimportant it's true enough, but they are all approximations of the imagination or the final creation. Entasis is just as accessible to a computer as papyrus.

There is plenty of intellect or lack of it to go around. The old times or new times or people are not inherently better or worse. We come to sound like 4000 year old men. "Well, in my time no self-respecting architect would..."

In our rich culture, though,sometimes it seems we just can't afford to do it like they used to--even 100 years ago. Why is that?
