Regarding Architectural photography... you have to be good. I don't know who is in that field in South Florida now, but when I worked in Miami a couple of decades ago, it was down to two guys and really only one except some people couldn't afford him so they'd hire the other one. If you're good, you really only need promotional materials and you need to keep knocking on doors until they start inviting you in. If you want good 'promo', try designstrategies.com they have skyrocketed a photography career for someone I know. You can also send us (or other architects you've asked) samples on-line and we'll give you an idea of which ones sell architects and which ones won't.
