I'm flattered by your criticism. Romantic? There are moments in time when the real exceeds the imagined. This was true of the terror of 911. It is also true of the emotional response to it. To side-step the level of "romantic" realities, trite as they may be, in this circumstance is to itself be out of touch with reality.

Metaphorical meanings will be assigned to anything that is built, like it or not. Shall they be accidental or deliberate, shallow or Rich?

I'm also somewhat amused that you would have today's events take place inside a super-mall. Grand indoor spaces are can be wonderful, but the ceiling for this memorial must be the sky.
