i agree completely that having a leader helps the team.

also a few very basic things help enjoy working as a team and bring out a good solution; individuals needs to remember that the user , finally is the one everybody is building for.
and then theres the compromise, being able to accept that the solution is not going to be the image in black and white that first came into my mind, but the spectacular monochrome that emerges out of the teams exchange.

how about the all important open mind? every individual in a team needs to be able to detach themselves enough from their own "visions" to be able to clinically eliminate problem areas and support potential ideas.

the productive capacities of a team depends finally on every individual.
