I've taught for more than forty years, but also have practiced as long, and built far more buildings than I can remember off the top of my head. I'm also a critic.

Thanks for your compliment anyway. I'm not the only participant in this forum who knows and respects Nikos Salingaros as an astute critic. He's not an architect, that's true, but he's not merely a journalist like Muschamp either. Nikos approaches architecture from the more objective realm of mathematics, his area of special expertise, which may suggest why he and Christopher Alexander share many views.
