Thank you all for you comments, it was interesting to hear your diverse yet common replies.

For me, I am currently struggling with our firm's infatuation with client service and quality control(of construction documents). Albeit these are two of the cornerstones of most any architectural practice, the reality is that it is the collaborative design process that seems to have suffered as a result. I am trying to understand if there can, in fact be, such an environment where all three, client satisfaction, high quality documents and design/creativity coexist.
