a group of medical students were arrested in the United States on the word of a café waitress who apparently was found to have made up most or all of what she said that she overheard.

the students were investigated and it was found that they were not guilty of anything.

they had been arrested because they were Muslims and therefore suspected of terrorism.

well, these things happen - they shouldn't but they do, and after all they were released by the authorities.

- and then something happened which should worry each and every American professional:

the hospital to which they were being attached threw them out.

if they had been architecture students, would they have been thrown out of a US architecture faculty or out of a US architectural practice or kicked out of the AIA ?

time will tell.
