money instead of pride - Penn Street station was famous far beyond New York. The most famous railway terminus in the world ? possibly.

what an interesting site you linked to - this is the only time I have seen a site that talks about what used to be on the WTC site. Logically the brief for any new development would look back to the history of the site - if the authorities were interested.
