Yes, people (many, possibly most of them) prefer answers to questions. How many students enjoy a visit from their studio design critic (unless they are in a doctrinaire studio conducted on the master-apprentice model)? Because people prefer to get answers than to get to questions, we have far more gurus and charlatans in the world than genuine philosophers. There is a difference between those who offer faith, consolation, or therapy and those who pose painful questions when they don't have comforting answers.
