I have seen very large arches fabricated from slim boards simply bolted together using no glue. I wouldn't try this without some engineering advice, however, unless you are prepared for an expensive experiment. A small greehouse probably would not present any great difficulty, although it could collect considerable snow in our climate. I would imagine the most likely failure to be splitting of the wood where bolts occurred, but there are special connectors designed to distribute the shear over a larger area of the wood. Again, you need some technical advice, unless you want to experiment with trail and error, being prepared for error.
