Architecture are not about having original idears. Architects havn't even found out what the programs they are using acturly offer, and how primitive this realy is. If you need new visions, you just go back 60 years and check the trends, put it into the Lego blocks and add some fake surfaces.
What's underneath are not your problem , the honesty of your work is no problem as form follow function ,then you can draw whatever and expect the engineer to handle how to get things together and cover the ignorance. You can even draw a fancy framework and have that covered while trend is what most do as anything else are to big a job, wierd isn't it ; if an architect draw a building any style and expect the engineer to make it possible ,then these day's everything are just fake surface. I even seen students getting a very positive critic , where at the end of the evaluation it was said " Still it is not possible to make a roof that follow this form, as the drawing show an illution of somthing not possible". Still this is _no_ problem for an architect ;))
