You would want a builder that is versed in using SIP. Flexibilty and placing of plumbing and wiring can be some drawbacks. It seems like a good system. I suspect the use has not grown because of 1) the cost is probably higher 2) lack of knowledge in contractors or architects. My parents built one-- a small two bedroom and it's pretty nice and seems to be well insulated and tight. They had a connection with the manufacturer so it was very economical.
