ancient Rome - and London today.

apparently the number of people peeing in the streets in London is now so great that the authorities are installing open-air urinals (and I mean 'open-air', nothing around them) for men to use. Some of them are installed in the pavement and only raised at night for the drunks to use - or bump into.

London isn't what it was.
