The new path of thought,it seems,is to tear down and destroy. The reasoning behind this is newer just HAS to be better. As a country
we have grown soft since the Golden Age Just as the Arthurian
Knights grew soft in times of peace.Because we have grown soft we have lost the respect our fathers had for the land and the materials God's gift of nature has given us.We have lost sight of one of the considerations an Organic Architect takes when viewing the site,or a remodeler when seeing the original building,to use what is already there. The Golden Age is gone and so is Golden Architecture. We are saying hello to a new era of brutalism, modernism, and tack-on design.America,it is time for a Revival of Taste.
