Its hard to say. Some schools are known to be difficult, and the grad. school will take this into account. The portfolio will be heavily weighted, and so will the recommendations. I was in a similar situation with similar graduate school ambitions and got into some schools but not others. Some schools because of their locations are quite good but not as selective (Rice comes to mind, as does Cornell and Syracuse).
