But this is like saying that all cats, by virtue of belonging to the same species, should get along.
In fact, as everyone knows, precisely the opposite often happens, and for the very reason that they are of the same species.
Members of the same species ( or category or class or profession) are the most likely to war upon each other over competing claims to the same resources.

The only time these relatives band together, is to fight some force bigger than an individual: either a competing nation, or nature itself.

So, having destroyed nature, we will now destroy each other.
