Frank Lloyd Wright : organic architecture (architettura organica)

“ I say that now is time for architecture to recognize its nature, to know that comes from life and its aim is the life as today we leave, therefore to be an intensely human thing.” By this sentence Frank Lloyd Wright, founder of organic architecture, grasps the principal nucleus of this new way to make architecture. No more spaces, architectural forms, functions, decorations, untied from the life, but all tightly connected to it; a very full life, natural and spiritual, individual and participating to civilization. Organic architecture foundations is the dignity of the human being, a free creative, responsible man that must have a human scale space that helps him to grow, to show him his potentiality.
