Maybe it's anit-architect, if you characterize Christopher Alexander's Pattern Language as a poem to the vernacular. Nevertheless I believe Pattern Language informs architects and architecture. I am not familiar with many of the works by CA outside of the books and those works should speak to his place. I've thought of Pattern Language as a sort of a an attempt at an wholistic view or an analysis of Organic architecture. I'm not sure it has to be constrained to one of these other schools.
