The fortress i was talking about (built between the middle of the 16 th century and the first quarter af the 17 th century)has all the specific feature of the" new italian sistem" that had been brougt In Oradea by Castaldo- the Military Guvernor of Transylvania.
The fortress is surrounded by a large groove with counter-scarpe,has a stellary pentagonal plan with bulwarks finished in a heart form at their tips.
In the 18th century some interventions in Vauban stile had been made, such a possible example may be the simple carved stone belt that surround all the ansamble.
The pentagonal castle was built in several stages and supported multiple interventions. Its plan was influenced by the projects of Ludovici Marini,Antonio de Sangallo,Ottavio Baldigara, Giacomo Resti di Commo. The Oradia Fortress seemes to be related with The Eger Fortress (1571-1572) and with some constructions built between 1600/1630 In Hungary under the Habsburgic domination.
So far I didnt find any informations about that architects or their other projects .Could you give me some suggestions about it, please? If it helps you i can share some photos and plan drawings.
