No career is a good career, but MAY be so upon proper circumnstances. Your interest for architecture must be a great engine to get success in it. Incidentally, I willfully -that no by error- took and passed a 1st course in engineering when I was 17 before than going to study architecture, and have never regretted. By the way, just a change of the plan of studies for architecture before me (I think I was plan 1969, so the plan before plan 1957) the usual path to become an architect here was: First you studied (and passed) 2 years in mathematics, and only then started Architecture! Since the career was one of the more difficult ones, that made for some of the older graduates in the country, but frankly, maybe it is was worth the wait.
