Manuel. You point to an issue in the profession.

Architects need to maintain perspective. When weighed down by bureacratic and professional business issues, they must still have an open mind and an undersanding of life and art that allows them to create viable designs for real people--not just sqeeze-out a stock set of drawings to order. The time, cost, legal, and liability pressures are a crucible that has to be turned into good design somehow, but can easily become overbearing.
