You are quite right, but with the WTC memorial we have all possibilities to make this a relevant memorial.
Still the only way I se this shuld be possible will ask a true will and belive in the future.
This is the "job" for visionary people , those who se wider perspectives and have a true "ansver". nothing less will be a lasting memorial not just a memorial but a memorial that show a direction to the world , a simple messeage that must carry no hate only truth.
--------- And then offcaurse this is the oppotunity of the millinium, to make the architecture express just that.
