Per: I hear you. The tool is sometimes integral to the process. But the original post was a rather pragmatic and urgent one. My response was based on my own experiences, which are well within the status quo, and also pragmatics. What our role is as professionals is serving our clients; as architects it is to design buildings. Re-inventing the traditional process is fascinating and important to the future of the profession, but I am guessing secondary to this fellow who is probably wondering how he is going to pay his rent in the coming months! But I appreciate your comments, and they are not without some positive effect on me.
