I would say people is being distracted by learning design technology, in our area. This forestalls many times deeper understanding of the own character and nature of the architectural works.

I foresee this trend lasting at least one decade more... if there are not uglier worldwide developments making us all looking far more down to earth.

Respect architecture initiating revolution maybe one architect may start such thing, but not the professionals as a whole. Our profession is fully servient presently to money and power interests, I see. No critic is allowed in this, and where there is some you start to not work.
