Frank Lloyd Wright is a good example in architecture of the ability of the human mind to learn new things. He was always interested in new ideas and exploring new ways of expressing architectural forms. I have recently read some research on brain function, and learning a new language was cited as one of the examples. Knowing other languages, both for communication and for architectural expression, serves to enrich our lives. Those who have been around this forum for any length of time will know that I have encouraged others to share their local architecture. I find it interesting to see how others for whom English is not their native language - to see how they express themselves.
