Federation Square is more than simply a square - it is a centre for people to meet, for entertainment, for culture. I think that Casey has not taken account of just what is included in the large development. (I don't know the budget, but I'll bet that it is a lot more than 13m.AUS$)

Coincidentally, I was asked just last week what I thought of the investment potential of buying flats there - I was most enthusiastic about it, as I am about the whole development.

Melbourne has the courage to try something new and positive. I believe that it will work very well indeed.

Australia is not short of either schools or hospitals. It is a well off country that has worked for every dollar - perhaps people deserve a centre of entertainment and interest.
