architects having ethics ? the time that is of special interest to you (some half a century ago) they certainly did. Maybe they didn't always get it right, but they certainly wanted to make life better for people.

and today ? I really do not know.

as for the "New" Labour Government .................. they seem to think that poverty is a crime. A top-earning fireman's wage is what ? 21,000 a year ? the average price of a London house is well over 400,000.

since I hear that the Territorials are being called up, do you happen to know the French for "Anderson Shelter" ?
