Posted by rachael on August 17, 2000 at 02:53:36:am doing a research paper on designing spaces that respond to the senses eg. visual, hearing, touch, smell....as visual is the most common form of communication for architecture, i was wondering if an emphasis on the other senses would produce more sensual & sensitive spaces that communicate on a more intimate level with humans. Can anyone provide perhaps some information or precedences of architects who designed this way??
