This golden mean make no sense in terms of being more smooth then any other dimension if you have vision with one eye only.
Only with perfect vision you will say that it is more smooth than any other square, I know. This deal with a number of fysiological facts about distance between eyes and focal issues, the rest is just about Chaos theories and fractals , what architect can't at the fly draw the golden measures nomatter if you feel about it or not.
