We have purchased a farm with two houses on it one a very small cottage with all the abolutions and the big house basically square, 4 rooms and no kitchen or abolutions. They are approximately 20 feet apart. the big house facing east, the little house facing north. I want to have a workable kitchen and abolutions but don't know how to go about it. There is considerable damp in both houses, being australia this is the norm with older houses. The cost of repair and dampcoursing would cost the price of a new home so an addition or incorporation of the little cottage into the main house would be preferable. Any suggestions
