There is an easy way of doing stonewalls like the famous
architect Frank Lloyd Wright did at his summerhouse Taliesin
where he mostly used concrete an just put in som nice brownish
stones here and there. He covered them with newspaper before
he placed them in position, and then just removed the paper afterwards. That gives a very raw appearance. His walls have a
sloping front and looks like they grow up from the ground.
