yeah .. i think that the water have a important place in the islamic architecture and its from many reason:
1- if u know the miracle of prophete IBRAHIM and zamzam water
2- the miracle of prophete MOHAMED at the sahra when he create water
3- the miracle of prophete JESUS when he change water to wine ...
so water is so important in religious,,,,,, for what u think christian (bi3amdo) el baby when he are baby... and for what muslim before payer (byitwado) and use water to be clean ... so water are important for them ... so by time water have a important role in islamic architecture .. i know alot of thing about that but just dont know explain in english .. so sorry .. hope can i help u
