As you will know, about 18 months ago, following critical research, RIBA implemented a re-branding exercise - part of which was the adoption of the "slim Lions" coat of arms motif.

"Quote"

"In one sense, the rebranding consultants have been successful, for they have devised a logo in-keeping with the RIBA's declining influence. After all, their report found that the institute "was perceived as having a diminishing ability to exert influence in construction and beyond, a reputation for internal wrangling and unresolved tensions between London and the regions, and as having an anarchronistic council and committee structure."

That Critique was part of a member's complaint in RIBA JOURNAL, October 2001. What is your assessment of these criticisms? and what would be your goals for the RIBA in the 21st Century and how would you ensure they were acheived?.
