Here's a suggestion; contact the manufacturers of those huge video display screens you see behind the stage at today's big rock concerts. These are usually composed of multiple flat panel displays, making up one very large image. If you can locate such a display that meets your size and weight criteria, it should be a simple matter to design a space frame to suspend it from horizontally.
